Vivegam – Music Review
Vivegam Music Review
Striking gold with three single tracks – Surviva, Thalai Viduthalai and Kadhalaada, the makers of Vivegam have now unveiled the full album. The album features 7 tracks composed by Anirudh. The film features Ajith Kumar, Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan in lead roles.
Singers: Yogi B and Mali Manoj, Anirudh Ravichander Feat.
The song doesn’t need an introduction as it swayed up with tremendous response right from the moment; it was launched as a single track. No words! The song has already captured everyone’s interests not alone for the musical score of Anirudh, but for the inspiring lyrics penned by Yogi B. It’s a mammoth treat for Ajith Kumar fans, who have been celebrating this song with more jubilation.
Singers: Harish Swaminathan and Anirudh Ravichander
The high-roaring number that is based on heavy metals that has boisterous instrumentals, where the vocalisms might not be audible for the first few times you hear it. But then, as it goes on for repeating sessions, you get grasped with it. Harish and Anirudh have given their best and it would be more appealing with the visuals.
Singers: Pradeep Kumar and Shashaa Tirupati
This happens to be the greatest cherry-pick in the album , where rest of the songs are heavy and high leveled sound based tracks, but this one sticks to melodious genre. But then, there are few places, where the instrumentals accompany the vocalisms and dominate the beautiful intonations of Pradeep and Shashaa Tirupati.
AK Theme Music (Ready to Rage)
An enticing signature theme that will definitely erupt theatres with blatant whistles and applause as they’re going to hear it…. The starting moments have some slow paced treatment, but suddenly travels into overpowering mode with distorted guitars and percussions.
Singers: Poorvi Koutish and MM Manasi
It looks like almost all the songs in Vivegam are purely motivational numbers that has its own way of enthralling not just Ajith fans, but universal groups. Much alike Surviva and Thalai Viduthalai, this one has its own impact with similar paradigm. The orchestral part just has the best touch and not to miss the rendition by Poorvi Koutish and MM Manasi. They’re up with their top-notch rendition.
Singers: Pooja, Anirudh Ravichander, Narmatha and Shashaa Tirupati
A sweet and soft reprisal of the previous version, which soaks us instantly with emotions… There are few modifications in this track when compared with the other version. We do get to hear the vocalism of Pooja during the initial moments that are commendable and aftermath, the track goes almost similar to the previous one with same style.
Never Give Up
Ajith Kumar has always been referred synonymously with International platform of performance and screen presence. It is obvious that Anirudh being a hardcore Ajith Kumar fan would have envisaged coming up with an International song. Yes, it happens by the end of album titled ‘Never Give Up’ crooned by Rajakumari. It has a different approach purely on the International style and doesn’t boast of noisy distorted guitars and other musical accompaniments.
As on whole, Vivegam is definitely a different and contrastive album when compared to the previous albums of Ajith Kumar and Anirudh respectively. It is so much evident that the film will not feature Ajith Kumar in any songs with dance movements. Most of the tracks are just going to be like background score.
