High court extends the stay till Dec 20th for director A.R.Murugadoss issue!
Thalapathy Vijay’s most expected Sarkar, which came out for Diwali, did well at the Box Office. The film fetched more negativity from the State Government, for criticizing the freebies given by the government.
Three days, after the release , Director A.R.Murugadoss was targeted by the ruling party, for such a portrayal and demanded an apology, for which the director denied.
Regarding this, the council said, “The petitioner (A.R.Murugadoss) will not give any under taking as demanded by the prosecution. It is against his fundamental rights guaranteed under constitution. Moreover, no citizen of this country has the right to waive of his fundamental rights”.
A few days back Devarajan ,a social activist from chennai had filed a complaint against director murugadoss ,for criticizing the Government policies, for which the director himself took a prior anticipatory bail.The director has been charged under sec 153, 153A, Sec 505A, B and C, of the Indian penal code.
Now, here comes the high court, with a statement to extend the stay till Dec 20th , which the Police department should follow it strictly.
