Manju Warrier to play the female lead in Dhanush’s “Asuran”?!

After the blockbuster hit of Vada Chennai, the cult gangster film, which depicted us the life history of the North chennaites. Before Subsiding the storm, actor Dhanush had a huge announcement on his next film titled as “asuran” with a first look mentioning Vetrimaran as the director. The actor- director “duo” join hand for the fourth time, after catering the Hat – trick blockbusters (Polladhavan(2007), Aadukalam (2010) and Vada Chennai(2018)).
After the long Pongal/Sankranthi holidays, the actor gears up for asuran which starts from January 26th,, and planned for the Post-summer release. The film holds a huge expectation on the casting, as the director is well known for showing a powerful impact via his characters
To spice-up the casting, the buzz says, Actress Manju Warrier has been roped to play the female lead of the film. The “Odiyan” actress gave a great come back with her film “ how old are you?”, which was remade here by actress Jyothika as 36-vayadhinale. Though the news isn’t confirmed from the production side, let’s hold our excitement and wait for the official confirmation.
