“Women-centric films are tiresome-“ Actress Anjali!
Actress Anjali, holds a peculiar fan base among the Kollywood film lovers, despite her gaps in releases. The actress, who is well known for her acting skills, started the career in Director Ram’s “Katrathu Thamizh” which was critically acclaimed. Now, at present, the actress completed her latest film “Peranbu”, which is yet to finalize the release date. Being “Choosy” in her scripts, the actress shared some exciting information on working with the “Taramani “ director’s Peranbu.
On a recent chat, the actress said “ I feel comfortable to work with Ram sir, who thought me the real essence of Cinema from day 1. He is an encyclopedia, who never show-off his talent. When I was approached for Peranbu, I was excited to work with Mamooty sir, who is a legend in acting. The one Take away from Peranbu is, learning the art of Babysitting”.
further adding about her next film, Anjali said “ Lisa will be a horror film, which demanded to be eccentric in whatever emotions I do. The film involves a lot of CG, and it’s going well. women-centric films are tiresome, as it demands the lead to work hard without taking a mid-break”.
Vijay Sethupathi’s untitled film and Geethanjali 2 are the two films, which are waiting to pop-out from the cards.
